MAC Lipstick - PLEASE ME

Love love LOVE this lipstick so much! I've recently starting trying out some brighter colours and this is my favourite so far! It is a matte finish which I wasn't so sure about but when I tried it on the back of my hand in the shop I liked how pigmented the colour was. I would wear this during the day with minimal eye make-up but also I would wear this out with an evening/night look. I think it's a perfect pink and I would use it on any skin tone. 

TIP- apply a nude/light pink underneath before applying Please Me and you get a different shade of pink! I like to change my lip colour most days so this is a perfect way to get a different shade! Also as the texture of this lipstick is quite creamy, it mixes well with other lipsticks.

MUA Eyeshadow Palettes

When I first started doing my makeup using eyeshadows I never had a lot of money so I would always buy products from the cheaper brands and most of the brands in Boots or Superdrug have some really good products. I saw MUA in Superdrug and all the products where less that £6 which is good if you don't have a lot of money to spend. Other brands with those prices, I have found that their eyeshadows are not pigmented at all and are really powdery but I was very impressed with these.

They have amazing pigment and with the right base or eye primer they last a long time. The shadows are also very easy to blend and as there are a range of colours you can quite easily create different looks. Definitely worth the price at £4 a palette at Superdrug!

QUICK REVIEW: Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Wash

This product is fantastic! Instructions say to use it in the mornings and evenings but I think it is more refreshing face wash and one that wakes your face up so I just use it in the mornings in the shower which is best as your pores are open with the heat. The face wash really helps smooth out your skin and I noticed my face seemed a lot brighter than normal. As the face wash stimulated your skin's natural cell renewal cycle and gets rid of dead skin cells, I definitely noticed that my skin has become much more healthier and I have had hardly any spots/blemishes. This is just a sample size which is only 50ml but a little bit of the product goes a long way. It is a very expensive product at £29 for 200ml which is a lot but I would definitely buy it and use it maybe twice a week so would last me longer!

ESPA 24 HOUR REPLENISHING MOISTURISER

I have very dry skin on my face and I always have done. I have tried a lot of moisturisers and different face treatments to try and control the dryness on my face especially my forehead and nose. So any time I get the chance to try something new I try it as soon as I can!

FIRST IMPRESSION:
After taken off my make-up with a cleanser and then used a toner on my face I then applied a small amount to my dry areas. First thing I noticed was the smell. I wouldn't say I disliked the smell but I have smelt better moisturisers. It is quite thick but the application was smooth. After applying it my skin defiantly felt soft and moisturised and healthy.

NEXT DAY:
When I woke up the next morning my skin felt amazing and so so smooth and soft! My skin also felt clean and not clogged up and I felt like I could apply make-up straight on without applying another moisturiser.

OVERALL IMPRESSION:
This is defiantly worth the money and I would go out a purchase a full size product! I'm also intrigued to try other products from ESPA especially the eye cream. Altogether this is a brilliant product and I love it!!

Essie Nail Polish- Not Just a Pretty Face



 



I normally prefer wearing darker colours on my nails like purple or black but I wanted a natural nude/pink colour that i could wear during the week to work which looked clean and natural. I have never tried an Essie nail polish before so I was excited to try out something new.

APPLICATION
The overall application was good. The consistency of the polish wasn't too think or too thin so it went on very easily. As it was a light colour I did have to apply 3 coats, I could have got away with 2 if I was in a rush but 3 made the true colour show. Surprisingly the polish dried pretty quickly which is always a bonus so it made the whole application quicker which is good if you are in a rush. I applied a top coat and let my nails to fully dry for a good half an hour.

TWO DAYS AFTER APPLICATION
After 2 days of doing normal day things ie,showering, I felt the nail polish still looked amazing and vibrant. I would defiantly buy Essie nail polishes again.

FIRST REVIEW: Organix Beauty Hair Products

 
I have been highlighting/dying and using heat appliances on my hair for about 6 years and over time it has become very dry and lifeless. I also hate going to the hairdressers which also doesn't help my hair as it desperately needs a trim! So the past year I have been on the look out for products and ways of looking after my hair to make it as healthy as I can without getting it chopped. Every time I see something new in the shops I can't wait to try it and see if it is better that the others that I have tried. So yesterday I was in Boots and I saw they had a small range of the Organix Beauty hair products. I hadn't heard of this brand before and didn't know which one to go for as they were three different types; Macadamia Oil, Moroccan Argan Oil and Coconut Milk. All three had a shampoo, conditioner and some sort of hair treatment. I love my Lee Stafford argan oil serum so I decided the safest option was the Moroccan Argan Oil. I purchased the shampoo and conditioner and also the penetrating oil.

First Impression

The first thing I noticed was the smell when applying. The shampoo especially smelt amazing and very fresh which lasted even after I blow dried my hair, which is a big thumbs up for me. The conditioner had to be left on for 3-5 minutes then washed out. I wouldn't say my hair felt extremely soft while wet but after applying the penetrating oil then blow dried it, my hair felt so soft and shiny and it brought a healthy colour to my hair. It also stayed soft after styling as well.

Next Day
I was very surprised the next day when my hair still felt very very soft and smooth. Considering my hair is very dry it started to get slightly greasy faster than it normally would but I don't know if this was because my hair is not used to such concentrated products. After styling it I had to apply some dry shampoo as my roots where slightly greasy but I did notice that my hair was still shiny and looked healthier than it normally does the next day.

Overall
I think these are great products to bring your hair back to life and to restore your hairs shine. I think i will use these 3 times a week then less when my hair starts getting more healthy so that my hair doesn't get to oily and also to keep a constant supply of moisture to the ends of my hair. I wouldn't recommend using these products everyday if you have very oily hair, maybe once a week just to keep the softness. Great buy,great products!!!
